starting our busy weekend was...

disney on ice!!! i took this picture during the lion king part of the show...

it was a lot of fun! my mom always gets reduced tickets for cool stuff like this through her work! i had never seen ice skating in person before and i think this was the most entertaining way to do it... costumes, and disney music haha! it was a pretty cool show. i guess at some point layla told my sister that "this was the best show ever!" :) cute! another fun thing is how many of us were able to go! there was me and my kids, my mom (nana), my sisters amber and brittany, and even my brother jason! and jason drove his giant expedition so that we were all able to carpool together. after the show we went out to dinner and met up with my aunt kia and uncle scott (my mom's brother), that was also really nice because i hadn't seen them in quite a while. and me and the kids went back and stayed the night at grandma patti's house! whew! and that was just saturday! many thanks to nana for such an awesome time, and jason for driving us all... we had a blast! i'm definitely glad to be home and back to a somewhat normal sleep schedule though :)
