this calls for chicken noodle soup...

or rooster noodle as we call it, aka: a dead rooster. it jumped on layla and maiko today, after the second offense and getting maiko so close to the eye i ran upstairs screaming "matt get your gun! that rooster has to die now!!!!" so he shot it like a good daddy and now my kids can play in the yard again without fear, and have a delicious chicken noodle soup tonight. now, i know you may be thinking "did she really grab the camera and take a picture of that poor child?" and i assure you i hugged on him first for a long time and i also asked his permission to take the picture. :)

  1. Good job Mom and Dad! Kids normally have trouble with eating their pets but I bet Layla and Maiko will enjoy every bite!!! I would love to hear about the dinner conversation :)

The way you put things into words makes me laugh and feel bad at the same time. i feel bad for Maiko and Layla that they had to go through this but at the same time laughing my head off seeing you run to Matt and then him going to shoot that "mean" rooster. heeee heee hugs to all

  3. thanks julie :) it was pretty funny! matt was laughing at me when i came up stairs all hysterical! and me and the kids were clapping for daddy after he killed it haha! and mom your right, they had no problem eating the first rooster. i think if it was a sweet little lamb they would have a problem but a mean rooster tastes real good :)
