there were so many beautiful and unique spots along the river...
what a wonderful trip. we had such a great time. we camped at cascadia national park... the place that my family camped every summer when i was growing up. this was the first time i took my kids there. it may have to once again become a yearly tradition. it was the perfect little vacation and now we are focusing on the "recovery".... laundry, dishes, all that camp gear (where did we keep it all).... and in a couple days we will celebrate a special nine year old (nine!?! when on earth did that happen!). we plan to squeeze in some more special summer goodness in this last month of the season... here at the coast i swear i feel fall creeping in already.... and i am not quite ready for it... not quite.
